As we reflect on gains and challenges from COP27 and look ahead to COP28, we reaffirm our commitment to sustainable sourcing and logistics in Sub-Saharan Africa, and we pledge to take the following actions:

We will continue to work towards reducing our carbon emissions by implementing energy-efficient measures in our operations, using cleaner fuels for our vehicles and investing in renewable energy sources.

We will work with our suppliers to encourage sustainable practices, such as reducing waste, conserving water and energy, and promoting biodiversity.

We will support community-based initiatives aimed at mitigating the effects of climate change, such as reforestation, sustainable agriculture, and conservation of natural resources.

We will engage with policymakers at the local, national and international levels to advocate for policies that promote sustainable sourcing and logistics practices and incentivize the transition to a low-carbon economy.

A Tree for every $100 you spend

Constell & Co. is committed to reducing the global carbon footprint. We support partner farmers by distributing and planting 10 trees for every $100 in revenue. We also work with our agro-forestry team to constantly offer training services on eco friendly practices to our partner farmers . We support partner farmers, communities, cities authorities, and other institutions with tree seedlings and actively encourage the beneficiaries to maintain tree cover and appreciate the benefits of microclimate and the infinite collective benefits of environmental protection.
